What to Expect
Joyful worship that honors God is the focus of our worship at Bee Ridge Presbyterian. The hope that Jesus gives to his followers every day draw us together to worship each Sunday. Our relaxed-traditional style of worship remains connected to our Protestant, Presbyterian beliefs. Different types of music, instruments, and art are part of worship that also includes traditional hymns and prayers. Each week the sermon is based upon the Bible and relates God's Word to everyday life.
Lots of members come to worship in comfortable, casual clothes. There is no "dress code" at Bee Ridge. All are welcome to worship God and enjoy God's family. Membership is not a requirement for worship at Bee Ridge Presbyterian. Each Sunday morning a mixture of members, regular attenders, seasonal visitors, and new visitors worship together. The Lord's Supper and Baptism are the two sacraments recognized by the Presbyterian church. These sacraments are celebrated periodically throughout the year and help us to recognize, in a special way, that we belong to God.
Bee Ridge Presbyterian is a multi-generational church that welcomes people in every age and stage of the lifecycle. The majority of our members are in the middle-age to senior-adult range.
Nursery care for infants, toddlers, and preschool children is provided each week from 9:55 am - 11:10 am.
